I have over 5 years of experience in creating, designing and maintaining websites in WordPress.
As the Marketing Director at the Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery and Marketing Manager at Chabot Space & Science Center, part of my responsibility was updating and maintaining the websites. I created new pages, edited code as needed, built out event pages, and ensured all copy was up to date and accurate. I created content, sourced photos, and optimized for search engines.
At both the Garden and Chabot, I lead website redesign and branding projects to modernize the look, feel and tone of these brands. The Chabot rebrand is currently in process and I am excited that we will be overhauling the website to bring it in line with a new, more colorful brand that better represents Chabot. We are focusing on sourcing better imagery, standardizing font selection, and speeding up the site for a better user experience.
